ScotlandPHP Speaker Information

We're committed to bringing together the best speakers, locally and internationally, to share their knowledge with the great people of Scotland. Think you've got something to share? Submit now and we'll work with you to bring your talk to Scotland.

About the Event

We'll provide HDMI and Mini DisplayPort connections for all speakers. If you need something different, or your selected talk needs audio equipment, just let us know. We'll work it out.

When the call for papers closes, a panel will sort through all submissions, making their selections. All speakers will be notified when the selection process has finished.

Two of the remaining talks will be selected by our blind-bird ticket purchasers. This vote will commence after the call for papers has ended, on 1st August UTC

This year's package

Our speaker package for this year's event includes:

1If you're selected and you're happy to cover your own costs; we appreciate it! So much so, we'll donate the cost of getting you here to a charity of your choice.

International speakers are encouraged to submit their ideas. We'll do our best, within our budget, to select the best submissions for our community.

Tips for Submission

We strongly encourage potential speakers to submit more than one submission on more than one topic. The more submissions you contribute, the more options you give us to pick you. Be sure your talk title and abstract define the exact topic you want to talk about and what you hope people will learn from the session.
